Brontae Hunter

Brontae Hunter is an actor and songwriter. She grew up in Southwestern Ontario, where she was influenced by several local musicians and actors who mentored and encouraged her to deepen her craft. The Georgian Bay Folk Society offered her many opportunities to play, practice, and experience the work of countless fellow artists. Eventually she based herself in Stratford, where she began deepening her work as an actor.

In 2017, she started training at The National Theatre School of Canada in Montreal in an ensemble of fourteen actors from across the country. In September, they will embark on their graduating year together.

She has a deep appreciation for mentorship, and artists of past, present and future. She is inspired by magic in something seemingly ordinary, cheeky jokes, a passionate argument, or any body of water.
