Hello Friends, Families, Volunteers, Patrons and Community Members,

Our Georgian Bay Folk Society staff, the board of directors, and committees are watching the COVID-19 developments with careful judgement and while ensuring that all of these people are safe, we are continuing with the planning aspects of Summerfolk 45. 

Our office has now closed temporarily, and our staff and volunteers are continuing with planning remotely and through online forums.  The Youth Discoveries ~the Road to Summerfolk has been postponed as well in hopes that at a later date (to be announced), we may still run this program.  The timing of our festival in late August offers us hope that our continued planning will result in one of our most special and memorable festivals to date – all the while adhering to the recommendations of our public health and government officials.  Our hope is that Summerfolk 45 will be a true celebration of music, arts, culture and community.

For our Artisans and Food Vendors, we have extended the entry deadline to April 15, 2020.  We have also introduced flexible payment scheduling for those vendors who require it. 

Tickets for our festival are still available at the advanced ticket prices – check our website (www.summerfolk.org) for more information.
