As a result of setting up a sawmill, Dan fell in love with wood in 2012. He started making cutting boards and rustic furniture, and now also makes paddles, canes and pens. He likes to work with Wild Apple, Maple, Cherry, Sumac and Juniper, found mostly on his property.
