Just outside Owen Sound, the beautiful Creamery Hill Farms will be hosting performances from OKAN, Emm Gryner, and more! OKAN will be playing from 1pm – 2pm, followed by Emm from 3pm – 4pm. One ticket is valid for both sets! Please remember to bring a mask. Gates open at 12pm.

OKAN

Born in Havana, Cuba, Elizabeth Rodriguez is a classically trained violinist who served as concertmaster for Havana’s Youth Orchestra. Magdelys Savigne hails from Santiago de Cuba and graduated with honours in orchestral percussion from Havana’s University of the Arts. Both are also Grammy-nominees for their contributions to Jane Bunnett and Maqueque, of which they are former members. Having recently worked with Bomba Estereo, Lido Pimienta and Bianca Gismonti, OKAN follows up on their Juno-nominated and Independent Music Award-winning debut album Sombras, with their sophomore release Espiral, out on the Lulaworld Records label.​

Emm is a member of the International Coach Federation, a graduate of the Music Industry Arts program at Fanshawe College and a 3-time Juno Award nominee, twice for Pop Album of The Year. Her first book “The Healing Power of Singing: Raise Your Voice, Change Your Life (What Touring With David Bowie, Single Parenting and Ditching The Music Business Taught Me in 25 Easy Steps)” will be published by ECW Press in Fall 2021. For 25 years, Emm has made a name for herself as a recording artist, label president and occasional CBC host. She helped make the first music video in outer space and toured the world with David Bowie, appearing on the albums Bowie at The Beeb, Glastonbury 2000 and others. Emm’s career co-exists alongside her work as a vocal coach and success coach. Coaching has become a deep passion for Emm and she believes it is one of the most powerful agents for change.
