Le Winston Band
Le Winston Band is a one-of-a-kind Quebec ensemble that blends its French-Canadian roots with Zydeco and Cajun music. Their energy is exhilarating and contagious. WE defy you to not dance during their set’s at Summerfolk. In fact, they’ll be leading a Cajun Dance workshop for us!
Since 2012, the band has been spreading joie de vivre throughout Canada and Europe. They not only play the tradition but also contribute to it through a sound that fuses the rich Louisiana musical rivage with original compositions. In 2022, they recorded “Winston Express” with producer Erik West-Millette and released it in February 2023. We’d like to thank École Catholique Élémentaire et Secondaire St-Dominique-Savio for their generous assistance in bringing this exciting band to Summerfolk!
