david sereda is one of Canada’s most compelling voices. His original songs weave together folk, soul and jazz – songs of witness and wonder. david has performed in concerts and festivals coast to coast. Whether in performance or leading a choral workshop, his voice sparks joy when he sings for you – and with you.
As well as Summerfolk, he has sung at the Emancipation Festival, leading the Song Circle, a chorus of community voices who sing the Spirituals – timeless, uplifting songs, instrumental on the Underground Railway, and which still carry crucial messages of courage and hope. david is also a celebrated composer of music theatre, and a long-time artist with Sheatre, where he co-leads workshops for kids of all ages.
