The Commune is a Hamilton-based folk-rock band founded in 2023 by Irish-Canadian singer/songwriter Finbar Wall. Rock, Americana, and the folk tradition blend into a brand-new, contemporary sound. Plainspoken and poetic lyricism complement the street-level rock ‘n’ roll that has built The Commune’s formidable reputation as one of Hamilton’s most promising young live acts in the last decade, bringing them onto stages with local legends and sharing lineups with Canadian music veterans

The Commune’s debut EP release- Juma is available everywhere as of 2023, with their follow-up LP The Fall,  having been released on November 23rd, 2024 and Finbar Wall’s solo EP is expected summer of 2026
