In 2017, Bon Débarras trio launched a third album along with a new show: En panne de silence. With this set of original compositions, the traditional folk music band will go on keeping alive the rich traditions of French-speaking America. Lyrics and melodies definitely attuned to Quebec flavours have been enriched by the arrival of the violin. Energy-filled accents of podorythmie, step dancing and body percussion punctuate this new opus also infused with urban beats and strong roots of First Nations. With this music both exuberantly spirited and lovingly tender, Bon Débarras invites us to experience a shortage of silence!
