Country-pop vocal harmonies, intricate finger style acoustic guitar, and jaw-dropping violin/guitar duels.
These are just some of the many traits to describe the trademark sound that is The Humble Divines. Ben Giroux, Bill McMillan, Amy Carson Hunter, Linsey Beckett and sometimes her brother Tyler make up the Humble Devines. Bill Linsey and Tyler have deep roots in the Grey Bruce, Amy was a winner of last year’s Youth Discoveries. In fact it was after seeing Amy at summerfolk last year that Bille Benn and Linsey decided to add Amy to the ensemble.
The Humble Divines have evolved into a group of highly skilled and talented instrumentalists and vocalists- sure to wow concert goers with their eclectic mix of folk, rock, country, pop, and Celtic music. Vocal chemistry, electrifying guitar and violin solos, lyrical stories of love and loss- The Humble Divines are destined to capture the hearts of the Canadian roots music scene.
We are excited to hear what they have been cooking up.
